Synopsis: The documentary film “Professor Musa Mateev” tells about the life and career of the Kyrgyz plastic surgeon - Musa Mateev, known for his work all over the world. The film tells about his development of the “flap in flap” method, which is widely used in modern plastic and reconstructive surgery. Thanks to the technique, Professor Musa Mateev was able to help more than 15 thousand patients, adults and children, in particular, indigent people. Running time: 01:13:45.

Synopsis: 7999 Fast Ln focuses on a young Chinese artist who recently finished art school and decided to apply for an artist visa to stay in the US during the COVID-19 Pandemic. It closely observes his visa application process since April 2020 and further examines this process in the backdrops of COVID-19, Black Lives Matter, Stop Anti-Asian Hate, and the 2020 presidential election. Synopsis: Summon Xian is an ancient shaman ritual in northeast China. Some people use this ritual to achieve the purpose of divination and healing. Synopsis: “Myrteza Blue” is the intimate portrait of Australian landscape artist Graeme Myrteza — a once multi-generational farmer in rural Victoria, now recognized landscape artist. Myrteza reflects on the loss of his son Brett, the catalyst for his self-discovery of painting. Filmmaker Eren Besiroglu chronicles Myrteza through his meditations on artistic exploration, evoking Myrteza to ask the question: ‘Why did I start painting at 60?’ Running time: 00:05:00.

Synopsis: Marine Chesnais, choreographer and contemporary dancer, goes to Reunion Island to meet humpback whales. Danced improvisations were born from these interactions in sea, which will be the fertile ground for her next creation. This movie, shot on breath-hold, is a choreographic and hypnotic journey taking us underwater, holding our breath, following the footsteps of this original project.

By showing us the process of encountering a wild animal in its natural habitat, 'Living on the Threshold' asks what is happening within us in this space of relationship where we cannot control anything – except our openness to what might happen – and questions our way of inhabiting Life.
